Pimp My Tuk-Tuk Launches Sri Lanka Charity Challenge
Pimp My Tuk-Tuk (PMTT), a global charitable organization known for its life-changing adventures, has announced that its highly anticipated Sri Lanka Challenge 2025 is only days away from its official start. This unique event will see participants navigating the beautiful island nation in custom-decorated tuk-tuks, all while raising funds to improve lives sustainably under the mission “Touching Lives, Making a Real Difference.”
Final Preparations for the Adventure
The PMTT team has been working tirelessly to ensure a smooth experience for all participants.
“It’s been a mega month and tight on deadlines, but we’ve managed to secure everything needed for a smooth and exciting journey,” said a PMTT spokesperson.
Key challenges, including new driving license regulations, have been resolved. Sri Lanka recently introduced a requirement for international driving permits, but PMTT successfully arranged both international and Sri Lankan licenses for all participants.
Strong Corporate Support and Custom Designs
The charity ride has already attracted 21 confirmed sponsors, with more in the pipeline. Sponsorship tuk-tuk designs have been created by renowned graphic designer Martin Tacchi, who generously donated his work to support the cause.
“These designs will look fantastic once on the tuk-tuks themselves,” added the spokesperson.
Event Schedule
- September 20, 7:00 AM – Tuk-tuk departure from the Heritage Hotel
- September 26, 6:00 PM – Tuk-tuk return to Kingsbury Hotel Colombo
- September 27, Midday – Celebration brunch party
Call for Support
With final arrangements now complete, PMTT is encouraging supporters worldwide to help raise awareness and contribute to this year’s challenge. Donations directly fund community projects, including education initiatives, water purification systems, women’s empowerment programs, and support for children with serious medical conditions.
