The results are in—the prestigious 50 Top Pizza Asia Pacific 2025 rankings have been revealed, and Singapore’s pizza scene continues to make waves. This year, two newly established pizzerias have secured spots on the coveted list, marking a significant milestone for the local food scene. However, in a surprising twist, longtime favourite La Bottega Enoteca has dropped out of the rankings.
Singapore’s Rising Stars in the Pizza Scene
Fortuna – 28th Place
Nestled in the heart of Duxton, Fortuna has earned a well-deserved place at number 28. Known for its Sicilian-Neapolitan-style pizzas, this trattoria has gained a cult following since its 2024 opening. Social media buzz and word-of-mouth praise have solidified its status as a must-visit destination for pizza lovers.
What makes Fortuna special? It’s all in the dough—fermented for 50 hours to achieve a perfect balance of fluffiness and chewiness. Making an even bigger splash is Anto, securing an impressive 13th place on the list. Located on Jiak Chuan Road, this pizzeria has quickly garnered attention for its unique pizza-and-cocktail experience.
Anto’s menu boasts three distinct pizza styles:
- In Teglia – Light and airy pizza served in a small metal pan (from $24)
- Classic – Traditional Neapolitan pizzas cooked at 480°C for 90 seconds
- Le Antonio – Signature creations by pizzaiolo Antonio Brancato, including innovative toppings ($38)
With its bold flavors and creative approach, Anto has positioned itself as a rising star in Singapore’s dynamic dining scene.
La Bottega Enoteca Drops Off the List
In a surprising turn of events, La Bottega Enoteca, once hailed as Singapore’s pizza powerhouse, has not made the cut for 2025. Previously ranked 15th in 2024 and 19th in 2023, its exclusion marks a notable shift in the ever-competitive local pizza landscape.
While the reasons behind its drop remain unclear, there’s no denying La Bottega Enoteca’s lasting impact. With its signature 48-hour fermented dough and perfectly blistered crusts, the Joo Chiat establishment still holds a special place in the hearts (and stomachs) of many pizza aficionados.
