Looking for something to do this Saturday and Sunday? The Makers' Edit, a curated weekend market showcasing over 60 independent brands, is taking over Dhoby Ghaut Green from 10 am to 8 pm on March 28 and 29. Whether you are into handmade jewellery, small-batch skincare, or locally roasted coffee, this one is worth the trip.
Organised by creative collective Neighborhood Studios, the market brings together a strong lineup of homegrown labels. Expect stalls from Kin Soap Co. (handmade botanical soaps), Studio Dalu (minimalist ceramic tableware), Good Folks Coffee (single-origin beans roasted in Toa Payoh), and The Rempah Project (ready-to-cook spice pastes that actually taste legit).
Fashion picks include Cloth & Coven, known for their linen separates designed for tropical living, and Glyph Supply Co., which makes sturdy canvas tote bags and wallets from upcycled military tent fabric. If you are shopping for gifts or just treating yourself, the price range is genuinely friendly — most items sit between $12 and $65.
On the food front, a dedicated F&B zone will feature pop-ups from Bao Makers (fluffy gua bao with rotating fillings), Pistachio Dreams (soft-serve and pistachio croissants), and Satay Social (charcoal-grilled skewers with house-made peanut sauce). There will also be a natural wine bar run by Lo-Fi Wines pouring glasses from $12.
Live acoustic sets are scheduled across both afternoons, with local acts performing from 2 pm to 5 pm. A dedicated kids' craft corner near the fountain area means parents can browse in relative peace.
The market sits right above Dhoby Ghaut MRT, making access easy from any direction. Bring a reusable bag — most vendors are packaging-light — and come hungry.
Entry is free. Follow @themakensedit on Instagram for the full vendor list and set times.
