Singapore will host BTS THE CITY ARIRANG from 1 to 31 December 2026, a month-long, island-wide fan experience built around the group's four sold-out National Stadium concerts.
TL;DR
- BTS THE CITY ARIRANG SINGAPORE runs 1 to 31 December 2026, announced by the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) and HYBE on 19 October.
- Activations span Jewel Changi Airport, Sentosa, Mandai Wildlife Reserve, National Gallery Singapore and the National Museum of Singapore, with 13 Marina Bay and Singapore River landmarks lit red from 8 to 22 December.
- Ticketing, prices and schedules for the activations have not been announced, and the four National Stadium concerts are sold out.
What is BTS THE CITY ARIRANG Singapore?
The Singapore Tourism Board (STB), the national tourism agency, says the project is a city-wide fan experience by HYBE, the South Korean entertainment company, designed to run alongside the BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG'. Singapore is the first and only Southeast Asian stop in 2026 and the final stop of the project this year. STB describes it as the largest island-wide fan activation ever held for any recording artist in Singapore, and Oliver Chong, Assistant Chief Executive of its International Group, said it is the largest city-wide destination project STB has run with a partner for any recording artist.
Where can fans go during BTS THE CITY ARIRANG?
STB lists these confirmed activations:
- Jewel Changi Airport: a themed light and music show at the Rain Vortex.
- Mandai Wildlife Reserve: a landmark-themed takeover of Exploria.
- National Gallery Singapore: an Art Trail pairing BTS music with the exhibition Pop after Pop: Art around Us.
- National Museum of Singapore: themed light and sound installations.
- Resorts World Sentosa: a fireworks display and themed experiences at Universal Studios Singapore.
- Sentosa Island: a rave, a drone show, a themed race and immersive installations.
- The Kallang: interactive experiences across several themed zones.
- Zouk Singapore: opening and closing night takeovers with music and experiential programming.
When are the concerts, and which landmarks turn red?
BTS play four sold-out nights at the National Stadium on 17, 19, 20 and 22 December. From 8 to 22 December, landmarks around Marina Bay and the Singapore River will be lit in ARIRANG red each night, including Anderson, Cavenagh, Clemenceau, Coleman, Elgin and Ord bridges, Gardens by the Bay, Millenia Tower, OUE Bayfront, the Singapore Flyer, The Fullerton Hotel, the Helix Bridge and The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia.
How much does it cost, and what is still unconfirmed?
STB's release gives no ticketing information for the city-wide activations and says more partner and activation details will be announced later. Dates and times for individual activations have not been published. One independent report, MissLobang, says the official programme page is HYBE's notice on Weverse, but we have not verified that. The same report notes that STB has not said which activations are free, so readers should not assume any are.
Why it matters for visitors and residents
December will be busy at the venues named above, so anyone planning to visit Jewel, Sentosa or Mandai in the month should watch for the schedules STB and HYBE promise to release. The red lighting from 8 December is the one element with confirmed dates and locations, and the Marina Bay waterfront is where most of those landmarks sit.
