French wine, Basque bites and a birthday celebration in Telok Ayer: LQV Singapore is marking its tenth anniversary with a programme running from 16 to 20 November 2026. A small-group wine masterclass will follow in December.
The Boon Tat Street wine specialist opened in July 2016. For its anniversary, it is looking back to that first year through a selection of 2016-vintage wines, alongside magnum pours and an evening hosted by General Manager Florian Meyniel.

A Birthday Built Around the 2016 Vintage
Rather than confining the anniversary to one party, LQV is spreading the celebrations across five days.
The 2016 Edit revisits the year the Singapore venue opened, with a curated selection of approximately 30 French wines from that vintage. It is a way to connect the bar’s own history with what was happening in the vineyard that year.
Alongside it, Magnums at the Table will feature a rotating selection of wines served by the glass, exclusively from magnums and poured tableside. Both programmes run from 16 to 20 November.
The anniversary also reflects a broader shift in LQV’s approach to French wine. While Bordeaux and Burgundy remain part of its story, the team says it has been exploring more producers from regions including the Loire Valley, Jura, Savoie, Corsica and Southwest France.

Basque Bites on 17 November
Pintxos & Pours with Florian, on 17 November, brings a personal element to the programme.
Hosted by Florian Meyniel, the evening draws on the general manager’s Basque roots, pairing pintxos and other regional bites with wines. A guest chef is expected to join, although the name and further details have not yet been announced.
Meyniel relocated to Singapore in June 2026 after joining LQV in Hong Kong in 2023. This anniversary programme is an early opportunity to see how his background will influence the venue’s next chapter.
The Anniversary Soirée on 19 November
The main birthday gathering is LQV’s 10th Anniversary Soirée on 19 November.
The announced programme includes a buffet, anniversary cake, photography and a photo booth with disposable cameras. An anniversary-night lucky draw is scheduled for 8pm, with each guest receiving one entry.
That draw is separate from the Anniversary Cellar Draw, which runs during the celebration week and takes place on 20 November at 8pm. Prize wines from both draws must be enjoyed at LQV, rather than taken home. Ask the venue for the full entry conditions.
